Earth Places, our most popular rooms, are built for flexibility and convenience. The layout is classic “motel,” so don’t expect a large suite. The styling and comfort, though, defines our hybrid project. The two custom “signature” queen beds allow you to spread out, or travel with a friend for value and comfort. Earth Places are decorated in earth tones to help ease you back into civilization after a day at the beach, on the water or window shopping in Friday Harbor. Upstairs Earth Places are carpeted, downstairs Earth Places feature laminate wood flooring.

Earth Places also include the definitive essentials that make Earthbox Motel & Spa the most complete lodging experience on San Juan Island: access to our heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fitness studio, free beach cruiser bike rental, wireless internet, room service by Backdoor Kitchen, cable tv, private bathroom, telephone, microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker.

Please keep in mind that while we rarely need it on our island oasis, these rooms do not have A/C.
