San Juan Community Theatre’s “Prancer”

November 11, 2009
7:00 pm

On Donner…On Blitzen…On PRANCER… Thanks to help from the Community Arts Theatre Society (CATS), we are trying out a new night of holiday family fun in the Whittier Theatre. We’re going to set up our big movie screen, pop up the complimentary popcorn and start up the shows! First, we’ll have some good old fashioned cartoons, and then the main attraction: the 1989 film, Prancer. The G-rated movie features Sam Elliot, Cloris Leachman and 9-year-old Rebecca Harrell and centers on the young girl befriending a wounded reindeer that she believes is one of Santa’s team.

Don’t look now but . . . experimental, interactive, new, possibly unfinished and definitely unpolished solo music by me, Teddy.  Come on down, share the fun, and the food’s good too!  It’s a great place to wait for the ferry and I don’t take it personally when the room empties at sailing (although I probably should.)
