SAN JUAN NATURE INSTITUTE FUNDRAISING EVENT

At the Mullis Center, Friday Harbor. Tickets are $45 per person and reservations are requested. This can be done on-line at www.sjnature.org or by calling 378-3646.

Hors d’ouvres and wine from the no-host bar will be served at 6 p.m. followed by an eclectic northwest dinner catered by Chef Farhad Ghatan. San Juan Jazz quintet will provide the music and Mary Ruckelshaus of the Northwest Fisheries Science Center will be our honored guest. This year our live and silent auction items include field trips and a dessert auction which will be fun. We look forward to celebrating 15 years of education and stewardship with friends, old and new.

PERFORMING ARTS SOCIETY CONCERT: THE LENZ TRIO

Ruth Lenz will honor us with Mark O’Connor’s Caprice #1 for Violin. She will be joined by her father, John, for Handel/Halvorsen’s Passacalgia for violin and cello. Paula will join her family along with Sally Browne to complete the concert with the Mendelssohn String Quartet Op. 44 #1.

ALFRED HITCHCOCK FILM FESTIVAL – YOUNG and INNOCENT
