The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.

There’s something for everyone – dancing, singing, music, villains, heroes, a wrestling match, romance, humor. You won’t just like it – You’ll love it!

Island Stage Left presents Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”

“All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players…”

From a cold and hostile court to the blossoming of spring in the forest of Arden, “As You Like It” is about love – in all its forms. Brothers, lovers, friends and foe are tricked, tried and tested in a pastoral pastiche of life, love, wisdom and wit. A celebration of country life combines to move, delight and inspire in this, a comedy for anyone who has ever contemplated packing it all in for a simpler life.
