Opening weekend of the 8th annual invitational Sculpture Exhibition at Westcott Bay Sculpture Park and Nature Reserve  May 1 to May 3. See over 100 sculptures by Pacific Northwest regional artists including Ann Morris and Gerald Tsutakawa, placed throughout 19 acres of meadow, forest, and pond.

Park rangers and volunteers recreate military and civilian life at English Camp during the island’s early pioneer period. Activities include blacksmithing, coopering, weaving, needlework and exhibitions of military equipment and skills.

Park rangers and volunteers describe events leading up to and including the Pig War and the peaceful joint occupation of San Juan Island by British and American troops.
